CathNews New Zealand is a great way to connect with an engaged community of people, united in their interest in the Catholic Church. CathNews has opportunities for organisations to promote your events, services or products with the knowledge that it will reach an audience with diverse backgrounds and experiences, but with a shared Catholic understanding.

As of February 2025, the CathNews subscriber base is more than 3,600 people, from laity to priests and religious and leaders in the Church.

Advertisements can appear on the newsletter, which is sent to people’s inboxes twice a week, or on the website, which is obviously accessible 24/7. All stories that are introduced in the newsletter are posted to the website.

Advertisements are placed for one-week blocks. Organisations wishing to advertise for four or more weeks in a three-month period can enjoy a 20 per cent discount on the normal weekly rates.
